GI2—GSM Identity Interrogator
The conventional interception of telecommunications is based on targets (target facilities). The prerequisite for this is that law enforcement agencies have the identities and numbers for the target facilities.
GSM networks have created the perfect environment for criminals and terrorists where they can remain anonymous and are able to avoid interception in different ways:
